The Government of Nepal has set a target of graduating Nepal from its current status of a least-developed country (LDC) to a developing country by 2022. It is clear that the private market in Nepal is growing and holds much potential. Private actors such as banks, financial institutions, companies and corporations, investment agencies, and mutual funds play catalytic roles in creating, strengthening and sustaining Nepal's emerging market and business environment.

LAN is offering its services in identifying legal, political, and institutional challenges in the financial sector and offer solutions to address these challenges. In this context, LAN organizes events such as conferences, seminars, policy dialogue, and workshops to bring key stakeholders together, including banks, business communities, lawyers, academia, and policy-makers to build a conducive business environment and a robust market in the country.
